When we have "good guys" with guns, training, radios, computers, support personnel, boats, helicopters, planes, bullet proof vests, armored vehicles, and other types of tactical gear and they are the victims of gun violence.......what does that say about the gun situation in our country?

So she had a Dr's appointment earlier this afternoon. Friday, Rt 3, barely any traffic (relatively speaking). I didn't see any lines at the banks, drive thru foodys, etc. No cops, anywhere. Which is crazy weird. And no people. Even Kaiser's parking lot was almost empty (relatively speaking). The people we encountered inside seemed off their game, out of sorts, whatever, just not right. The neuro even brought up the Dallas thing, which was a bit odd I thought, as current events are rarely discussed in these types of visits.... he seemed distracted by it.
She was belly-aching, literally, about being hungry so we hit up Basilico right after, since she's never been there I thought she'd be blown away by the dessert bar. That was probably a little bit more normal but some of those people in there are shady as fuck on a good day. In fact, there was a man who must be a pharmacist next door that was having lunch with a woman who like out of the blue just started having a shitfit about something. I thought for sure he was going to get his really obvious wig knocked off by her flailing hands. But that's just another day in the burg.

It had a slew of Open Carry activists, openly carrying. Because Texas. They were going to protect everyone from mad mass killers and such, the way ammosexuals do. How many bad guys did they stop? How many of them became distractions for the popo? None and all are my guesses.
