He didn't like how he was treated by the publication so has started his own church. Guess who?

I'd say that it will be funny when they all realize that the rapture is all fake, but it won't be funny to the rest of us who have to deal with the hellscape he's unleashing.

They never realize anything, minx. They accept the cult leader's excuses, without question. It's how cults work.

One of my favorite quips:
Is Trump just like Jesus?
Let's nail him to a cross and find out!
And yes Bob, there is absolutely a cult mentality going on. It's extremely concerning, to me, that when you ask what The Donald could do in order to draw rebuke from his individual supporters, there is only smart-assed responses like "become a democrat". They really do believe he is one of them and don't appear willing to question even his simplest motives. This thread was aptly titled.

You know what hill they're willing to die on? The line that the Exalted One cannot cross?
Blasphemy. He can drop the mother of all f-bpmbs in every sentence, describe people in the most vile terms, even say that their neighbors, family members and preachers are scum and should be wiped off the face of the Earth. That's all okay. After all, we didn't elect him because he was genteel, right?
But one Goddamned, and all hell breaks loose. Because you just can't take the Lord's name in vain. You simply cannot.
Out of all the commandments, this is the one they're going to choose as the ultimate one.
Jim Jones, David Koresh, Jeff Jeffers, they have nothing on Trump. Future cult leaders should be making a pilgrimage to see him.
