Do not plan two weeks of meals, order everything thru their app, and think at least one week of meals you planned won't go to hell in a heartbeat.
🤦♀️🙄🤦♀️🙄 I wanted some goddamn stew!

Yeah, I’ve rad all kinds of complaints about that, from delays//cancellations to weird replacements. I’m picky.

They let you check which items they can substitute and say that if something is substituted it will be an "upgrade" either in quantity or quality. For example, I allowed a substitution on my Belvita Biscuits Family Size. They replaced with 3 regular sized boxes which gave me like 3 extra packs for the same price, same product. Some things I don't want substituted, so I uncheck them. The biggest problem is OUT OF STOCK things like meat, which they won't sub anyway. I had 2 things of meant that were out of stock and a couple other things. Luckily, I anticipated that and had gone to Food Lion Wednesday to pick up as much meat as I could according to our meals plan. We should be in pretty good shape for about 2 weeks although there's not going to be beef stew and stroganoff unless I go somewhere else and find a big chuck roast or package of stew meat. And no homemade bean onion and cheese mini burritos (taquitos whatever) because no frikkin refried beans that isn't loaded with shit (I don't do substitutes on those because.... trust me).

None of the stores were prepared for the surge in delivery and curbside pickup, so they didn't have enough workers to fill and deliver orders. And to be honest, I'd have to be pretty damn desperate to sign up as a delivery driver right now, contactless contact be damned.
It will be interesting to see if this surge remains once things start re-opening.
