None of those were on WaPo’s list. So I haven’t seen them. I did catch the Breaking Bad parody this morning but I had no idea what they were advertising. I usually ignore ads (but I do sing along sometimes if it’s a catchy tune!).

Oh! The Amazon ad was great, too. Destructive dog gets a pal. Fantastic!

And then there's the valentine's day card from JuJu Smith-Schuster

I thought it was telling how many commercials had celebs selling their shit. It's usually animals, just saying.

I'm thinking that for all the money they spend on those commercials, most of them are mighty lame. I wonder how many brands get an actual boost from them.
I will say that one I do know for sure that does get a boost is WeatherTech. They won some sort of contest a while back for a free ad and made the most of it.

I just saw Steve Martin’s ad today and wasn’t impressed. I admit I didn’t see the beginning.

I just saw Grohl’s ad. Loved it, but I’m surprised it was for Crown Royal as he drinks Jäegermeister on stage. He and Taylor were closer than brothers so I’m glad to see he has been out and about. I’ve been following his grief.

There are two ads - one for Crown Royal and a regular one.

I kind of remember the Crown one but not particularly that it was during the Big Game or like, during Young Sheldon last night.

Most of them were pretty forgettable.

So when the Commanders are sold, will the new owner move the team? One of the bidders is Canadian.

Doubt it. This is a huge market for all pro sports thus the 6 billion price tag.

Plus the new owner has a fantastic shot at that sweet, sweet taxpayer money to build a new stadium. Who can pass on that?

All they have to do is approach the Spotsy BOD and they'll get whatever they want. Need us to rezone some agricultural land? No problem! Need millions in tax breaks? LOL, NO PROBLEM! Need us to fund the infrastructure? Baby! No price is too high for the citizens/taxpayers to shoulder for a deal!! Come on down!

I see Damar Hamlin has been cleared to return to football and he plans to play again. 😢😢

While playing again seems like an idiotic decision, is is any worse than players who get multiple concussions and go right back to the team after they're cleared?
Or players who talk about things like being in so much pain that they can't tie their own shoes, yet they're still out on the field or on the court/ice.
I'm glad he recovered and is well enough to play again. Not something I would do, but there's a lot of stuff pro athletes do that I think is asinine.

When you think about it, a lot of us do the exact same thing for a hell of a lot less.

Yep! Despite my broken nose and sprained knee, I still hobble into my bathroom in the dark. 🤣🤣🤣
But seriously, my job contributed quite a bit to my hearing loss. But I preferred sitting in a noisy computer room to work than sit in a cubicle. But then, I’m pretty much a loner.
