Pfizer is pretty much gone. The question now is whether the Sackler family will be allowed to keep their massive profits they took from the company For all this shit.
And I don't think you should be allowed to declare bankruptcy as the result of a civil suit unless the company is going completely under. And in that case, executive pay for the past two years should be reviewed - bonuses and golden parachutes should be revoked and those people forced to pay as part of the settlement. And the order of payment should be to those who will receive the judgement, then employees, then other creditors.
No reorganization BS. If ordinary people can't get rid of their student loans in bankruptcy, then businesses shouldn't be able to ditch court settlements. See how they like them apples.

And the pandemic will definitely have long term results. Lots of small businesses couldn't weather being closed for that amount of time and will never re-open.
