Now that he’s the presumptive nominee, will he be getting regular security briefings again? A man that has 30+ ESPIONAGE indictments? Holy shit.

Correct. It's more of a "courtesy" than anything that just became standard in the 50s. Based on what I've had the time to read (new ramp project in progress) the briefings don't include documents, so that would defeat at least one of the potential reasons for denying him. However, I too think Biden should prohibit any and every intelligence agency from providing the presumptive nominee, and even after he's named the nominee, ANY classified, national security, or sensitive information until after the election and if he's P-E.
I also agree that Biden go on TV and detail why you don't give national security briefings to anyone that has been impeached twice, convicted of fraud in his business dealings, Trump U, and his own fucking charity,... has 91 federal charges pending, including for the mishandling and lying about classified documents, attempting to nullify a free and fair election, election tampering, witness tampering and intimidation, and about 3000 other matters where he's named as a defendant. So quite simply, NOT ON MY WATCH. Good night and God Bless America.

I have yet to read or hear about anything being official. The media likes to go with stories that "sound" official but aren't- they usually start with "Speaking on the condition of anonymity, an official who is familiar with the other officials' thinking on the matter says that official is expected to say or do ________ " and also from what I've read from people with names named, these "intel" briefings are only verbal. Regardless I am 100% sure Biden has the ability to filter what will or won't make it to Don's Jon and will not simply leave it to a longstanding tradition knowing that the world is watching very closely right now.
