is in the crockpot (@1200hrs) sitting on a bed of sliced onion with one beer, two cups of chicken stock, and a couple of shakes of washyoursistersauce. Cabbage and carrots to be added later this afternoon.
Nobody else around here will eat it unless I make Reubens with the leftover beef later in the week. I think I'm going to make a red cabbage slaw rather than the standard sauerkraut. Giant has PFarm bread on sale for 2.49 so if they have any rye-pump swirl we'll be having those sammiges in a couple of days.

She put a hurting on the cabbage and potatoes but had a tiny piece of the brisket and agrees with you. Said fmi she don't want no rubens either lol.
I hate to spend money on shit that only one of us eats as a main meal/s because of wasted food. So figuring another 10 bucks or so for the stuff to make rubens I may re evaluate. Can probably buy one somewhere with fries for about that.

The fingerling potatoes I used were the star of the show. Meat was nice and tender but lacked in flavor a bit. Still can't complain as it was the best I've had in exactly one year.
