I couldn’t find the previous thread, sorry.
My replacement ergonomic cushion broke. In half. Yes, I have a backup. I put it on top of the broken one rather than replacing it, so now I’m sitting like the ‘princess and the pea”. 🤣🤣
(I think it’s my fault, as I like to keep my seat raised to make it easier to stand, so the cushion is sitting on top of other pillows.)

Momma just got her new lift chair delivered today. I don't know what thread went either.

Okay, I need to hear about the lift chair. Is it everything and more? Being a lazy-ass bum, I kind of want one. Is it in the budget, and do I need one? No. But since I am not disabled, it does feel like utter luxury - sitting and standing without having to do anything at all!
And I didn't know ergonomic seat cushions could break!

Mom had one of those lift chairs. I didn’t like it. It wasn’t as comfortable as my dad’s recliner (hers didn’t seem to recline as easily or as well) and the lift mechanism was too slow for me.

I saw on at an estate sale that was smooth as butta and very comfy. Of course someone got to it before I did.

Off the top of my head her new one is the most expensive single piece of furniture we've ever bought.

I can get that - the reason why we passed on the chair on the first go-round was the price. And it was a pretty good price as I recall.
