I bought them because I read that Biden was wearing them for stability. I definitely need that! What I’ve discovered is that they are very comfortable! They have a wider base than other kicks (at first, they reminded me of those “trainers” that Kramer wore when everyone thought he was “special “🤣🤣🤣🤣). It feels like there are little pillows or cushions in the soles, making walking much more comfortable (and a bit bouncy!). I highly recommend them. Best of all, I do feel a bit more stable when I’m wearing them.

Awesome! I've seen a lot of health care workers switching to them also.
When my Brooks give up the ghost, I'll look into them.

I added compression socks yesterday, and it was even better. No restless legs overnight and I actually slept a bit over 5 hours with noopotty breaks! Amazing for me, as I’m usually up every 2 hours.

JJ has finally started wearing good compression socks and we got her a stationary bike that can be used with a wheelchair. She doesn't get much out of it but the motion, which is the most important thing. Her swelling in the left foot has gotten considerably better in the past 2 months or so, to the point where she could wear her shoes again if she's so inclined.

My legs are so large (always have been, even at my smallest) that it’s hard to find compression socks that fit. When I bought these a year or so ago, I couldn’t get them on because my legs were so swollen (they were the largest size available). Now that I can wear them, I’m hoping to prevent future swelling.

So, I’m forgoing the compression today. A couple days ago, my right compression sock bunched up at the ankle, under the tongue of my shoe. It hurt, but I ignored it. I thought it would be fine once the socks came off, but now I have a small ulceration. I still wore the socks yesterday but it was very uncomfortable. I slathered the area with Balmex before bed, but it didn’t seem to have any effect, so I am now using neosporin and a bandaid. The tongue of the shoe is stil a bit of an irritant (I prefer my shoes to be tied tightly. I hate the heel slipping up and down when I walk!), but hopefully it will heal quickly.
