I don't always listen to bluegrass but when I do I especially like new grass. Check out The Steeldrivers if you wanna taste of something different. Chris Stapleton was their guitarist and vocalist, and it's really good stuff.

It's really good Pam - take a listen to the clip. I didn't think I'd like it but I do.

It's been playing in my head for days, very infectious all the way through. I wasn't much a fan of Chris Stapleton, probably because of someone playing that fucking Tennessee Whiskey song that made him famous, thanks to The Possum. Now I'm more open to his country music which is leagues above 98% of what passes as country music in this day and age. Sort of like Tom Sawyer by Rush. I literally threw my Moving Pictures CD out of the car because I was so sick of that song, but I could just as easily put 2112, or Farewell to Kings all the way up on 11 nowadays.

I hadn’t paid attention to Stapleton until he was on Howard’s show. He has introduced me to a lot of artists of which I would otherwise be unaware. I’ll have to wait until my data resets to watch, as I’m at my limit for the month.

Mark Knoffler (of Dire Straits fame) also has a new album out that's really good.

My playlist yesterday was almost the whole Dire Straits catalog. How funny is that? Also saw where Knopfler had something new coming out.
