I have to admit, if I saw a person broke down on the side of the road with trumps stickers and all the usually bullshit advertising that goes along with it, I'd honk and wave as I passed by, because I'm friendly like that.

Was it NORTH Carolina or South? Cause if it were the North, they have reg-u-lations saying you can protect your precious pearls if your religious beliefs might be threatened.

There may be such accommodations in state law, but I'm hoping perhaps some overriding federal law applies.

I have to admit, if I saw a person broke down on the side of the road with trumps stickers and all the usually bullshit advertising that goes along with it, I'd honk and wave as I passed by, because I'm friendly like that. When I was in Rocky Mount the guy on the corner had an Obama sticker on the back of his car. I always stopped and talked if he was out in the yard,,,a good guy.. One day I pulled over, got out and asked him what the hell happened to the back of his car? I told him someone vandalized it, he needed to call the sheriff, ,,We walked around and I pointed to the sticker.... I had to back up quickly.....the beer was coming out of his nose !!  |

Reminds me of when my MIL was a big mucky-mucky in the State republikkkan party. She gave me an "Ollie North" bumper sticker and told me to put it on my car. This was the first time I had ever put a bumper sticker on my car.....with the help of a pair of scissors it quickly became an "Ollie Not" sticker. I got a lot of compliments. |
