Police officers need to remember that when they cover for each others brutality and don't police their own......one of these days that shit could bite them in the ass. In the case of Kelly Thomas who was beaten to death by cops his dad was a cop also.
I had a friend who lives in MO and her wife is a police officer. Her attitude was that cops are NOT wrong even when they are wrong and do wrong because they are cops. She wasn't like that until she hooked up with this cop. SMDH.

Their statement about "nobody wins in this" was aimed at the fact that Runnels had a wife and kids.... the implication being that he didn't treat them the same way. Someone who would so callously treat another human being like that more than likely doesn't change in and out of it with their uniform. Again, I sincerely hope he's put in GP for four years, where he can get closer to that culture he exhibited. |

Let's just say society wins. This one. For now. Four years is not exactly full justice for what went down. And in all likelihood isn't what he'll wind up serving. And there are plenty of these pigs to go around. Surely there's one near you at any given time.
The kid wins because he's alive, no thanks to any of the shit cops on the scene, and will get another win when he's set for life here soon. What do you think this will wind up costing the tax payers?
PS- Note in the other article how he still constantly harassed by the local pig pen's shit cops, who apparently don't even give any of their blue line to the kid's dad, who is also a cop. How fucking thin is that line any way?
