I wanted to try and get her aired out today but I'll have to ask her if she wants to "shuttle".... otherwise this sounds pretty cool. Too bad Bavarian Chef's food is meh.

No biggie. We got out for a while. She needed some shoes so I figured we'd go to the mall and make a day of it there. WRONG. So we went over to Sports Authority where #1, there was PARKING! and #2 we knew almost for sure we'd find something, which we did. Then she wanted to "go see the puppies" at Petsmart. Best time ever (rolls eyes), woo hoo. Then grabbed a bite to eat at Vinney's. I had a Reuben sammich in honor of the German fest.

Bad weekend for PetsMart. It's their BIG adopt a pet weekend. Unless you're looking for pups, like she was. I don't know how she was able to maneuver though. The aisles are so cluttered then the lookers won't move.
Glad you had a good day!

John, that remonds me, I just got a delivery menu from a place on Cowan near the MWH turn, called Basilico. They list among their deli meats House Corned Beef (and house roast beef and turkey), whcih I take to mean they make their own. Have not yet tried it, but I will.

I didn't go, so have no idea. I am in the process of bringing in plants. Finding spots for them all is a huge challenge! Plus some are gigantic. I'm such an idiot.

I've been there once and got a baked Italian sub. Meh, Bozelli's it aint.... Some friends have said they love it. I question how easily some folks give kudos. However, looking in the dessert case was like looking at porn. So it most certainly is a place I'll try again, probably me and wifey go sit and have dinner......... and dessert..... not necessarily in that order.

I had a reuben. Really temder, but you know the corned beef gets lost in all the other flavors. Sliced thin, not falling apart, and yet tender. A bit pricey, I thought.

A friend used to always have dessert first when he'd dine at buffet-style restaurants.

That's fine with me as long as you get what you pay for and isn't just obscene. I think I paid $14 for a pastrami sandwich at one of the delis in NYC, I think it was Katz but might have been Carnegie (long LONG time ago) an it was worth every penny. I don't think this joint would put a pound plus of meat on anything, let alone take the time to turn a briskit into pastrami, or make their own bread, or anything else. Best Reuben I've ever had was at a place in Centerville. I want to say it was O'tooles, but again, I don't remember the name for sure. I used to do a lot of drugs. I still do, but I used to, too....
