She got KTFO! Was asleep before she hit the mat.
I only saw some clips but they showed the flurry and kick to the side of the head that made her go nitenite.
Brutal.
Have to admit, I knew it would come someday but I didn't think it would be this day.

I was shocked when I heard about it this morning!they say she didn't protect herself from a flurry of blows to the face/head. Think she was too cocky?

No I don't think so. Sure, it takes a little bit of self assurance and whatnot in order to compete in sports but I assume most of that cockiness is theater. The whole "weigh-in" and pre-bout conferences are nothing more than advertisements.
I haven't watched the whole match yet so I don't know what went wrong for her but from what I did see, she was on her feet quite a bit and that's not her strength. The knock out happened while she was on her feet and retreating from a hard elbow in the jaw, followed almost instantly by that kick to the same area. Again, most if not all of her victories have been submissions on the ground.

I won't know what to think about until tRump speaks about it. I need the douchebag viewpoint to triangulate from.
