OK, I don't care. If it knocks out 11 million jobs, that'd be just fine 'cuz the ones in 'em are the illegals that are here for just 1 reason, and that is because they will work for peanuts and sabotage prosperity for American citizens that would otherwise have those bottom-rung jobs.
Slave-wage jobs should not exist in this country. Australia has a $16 / hr min wage with an exception for young people, and I could go along with such an exception. Otherwise, if a frappin' machine can do it cheaper, then a frappin' machine should do it cheaper, and the unemployment numbers should get an uptick so that we can measure how good or bad our situation is. This nonsense of paying poverty wages to someone, and then they're "employed" and our unemployment rate is 0% needs to go away. If people are suffering because they're unemployed, or they're suffering because they're getting slave wages, they should all be in the unemployment rate so that the government and the people can measure that there _is_ a problem, and know that someone needs to do something.
And having hordes of people getting slave wages to pick cotton is little better than having hordes of people getting no wages picking cotton as slaves. Its less oppressive, but not "less enough." Want to use 1000 people to harvest your cotton or tomatoes or whatever? Fine, pay 'em $15 / hr. Otherwise buy a damned machine, pay an American citizen $15 or $25 or whatever per hour to run it, and unemploy those that sneaked across the border to become virtual indigents by doing this should-be-illegal low-pay work. (Oh, wait, it is illegal... my bad... they cannot legally work here any more than they can illegally be here... Well, maybe a minimum wage law would get enforced, at least the leftists might agree with it.)
