How's that shoulder coming along?
I had to slip mine back in place this morning.

Ugh.
I'm stuck with just the one arm. Opiates are still helping. The whole sling deal is already old. I get to take the gory bandages off Fri, so I got that going for me.

Change your user name to "Lefty" for a few weeks.

I hear that Sheetz is a hotbed of heroin use if you want to sell your spares.

❤️
How long do you have to use the sling? They told me to only use mine in public, as a means of warning others of the gimpy arm.

Ugh. My physical therapist fussed when she saw me using mine. When do you start therapy?

Best of luck to you. Take it seriously or you’ll regret it later. I learned the hard way.

Thanks. I know a lot of folks who got this done, and that's what they tell me.

I fucked up my right shoulder early this morning. I was dragging a 30 lb box upstairs. I took it halfway a couple days ago and decided to take it the rest of the way before I went to bed. Needless to say, I had a very restless night. Hopefully it’s just strained. Otherwise it’s back to Accousti for me.

WTF? Why were you dragging a box when your shoulder is messed up? I hope it's feeling better by tomorrow - it sucks not being able to properly use a limb.

Both shoulders felt fine before I dragged the damn box. I was doing so well, I cut back on the weight exercises. I just took a handful of Tramadol so hopefully the pain will subside to a dull ache soon. The pain radiates up to my neck.
At least I didn’t fall this time!

Bob, how is PT going?
Last Friday, I tripped and fell hard on my right shoulder. It has been very painful for the past week plus, but had started to ease up a bit yesterday. I did something overnight, as it was awful again today when I got up.
I’m such a klutz. 😳😬

Well I start PT later today. I've been using my arm since Tuesday, and it's really sore. I try to follow the limits the dr set, but it's hard to tell. I don't want to complain, since that helps nothing, but I need to find out how to tell if it's normal recovery sore or I damaged something sore.
ETA: Thanks for asking, and I hope yours stops hurting. I think I aggravated mine sleeping the other night.

Can't believe it's been 6 weeks already. To you it probably seems like 6 months.

Your therapist should be able to answer your questions. The last one I had was awesome.

Super encouraging appointment. I have about 3/4 the flexibility I should, which is really good. It could be a lot harder task than it will be. Now it's flexibility, later it's strength.

That's good news. Give some time to heal.

When you start with weights, I know a place where you can start with 12 ounces and work your way up.
