The Saudi's will not cut production (need money for isis and war in Sryia), and demand is down. Look at the tankers stacked up in Galveston and New Orleans) . I believe this is crude, but may be wrong. Storage is full here. Street price is $50 /barrel? What's the end game here?

End game is that it keeps up like this due to the 1) declining fuel thirst of EPA-mandated 55 mpg cars by 2025, 2) Those holes in the ground in N. Dakota ain't goin' away any time soon, so oil may be too cheap to make much $$$ at that, but if the price were to go up, they could easily be pumped harder, new ones drilled.
It'll get dramatically irrelevant in about 50 years or so when we figure out solar / wind / geothermal for electricity, and hopefully by then either 1) someone has invented the magic battery that makes electric cars as good or better than what we have now in all respects OR 2) they don't, but we then figure out how to get grid power to cars, trucks, etc. moving down the road with something better than a catenary. Maybe we'll microwave the power to them, or laser, or whatever. But I think the solution will happen, and make whoever figures it out very rich.

Beats me but when $10 is gas money..... let the good times roll! That may actually be bad times,,,,,unemployment will be huge,,, What do you mean by this? Do you think that people who aren't spending their money on gas aren't spending it on other things, thereby increasing the demand for products and services, which creates jobs? Nevermind, you won't answer me.

Y'all do know the Rs just voted to eliminate American jobs by allowing the export of Merkin crude, right? It's in the tax bill the House passed the other day.
So, you know, part of the problem.
