Have this one memorized because the fake news media always quote this as a failure of lowering corporate income taxes. What you have to do is to look up the corporate tax rates of all the states, and then you find that whatever they lowered the tax rates from, which can be assumed to be insanely high, they only went to corporate tax rates that are moderately high. I believe they are now 7%, so whatever they were before, they were higher and presumeably killed their industries prompting them to lower it. But of course they didn't do the full pull. There are LOTS of other states that are lower than Kansas, still. And industry, having a choice, doesn't stampede to Kansas. So... they failed, but its not a failure of low tax rate, because theirs ain't. Last time I looked, Virginia's was lower than Kansas', and of course the champion, Texas, doesn't have corporate tax rates at all, just a gross receipts tax (which they should also nuke, but, whatever, it's working for them.) A few years ago Texas was the job creation champion because of this, creating one of every 3 new jobs because of their taxes. Don't know the situation now, just know that Kansas isn't any sort of lower taxes means more jobs disproof.
