Yeah, other article I read said they would combine work at York, which would add 400 jerbs at York. Net drop of 400 jerbs. Plus you know that the Thai plant won't be supplied with Merkin-made parts.

Actually, the thing about HD being Made In America is a bit of a myth. They are "assembled" here, but the majority of the parts are made in other countries. I assume a plant in Asia would get them closer to at least a few of those manufacturers.

That's why we'll never manufacture iPhones in the US. All the parts are made in Gyyyyyyyyna. And they train their workers.
