"I'm getting too old for this shit".
The job I'm working on should have taken me a week from start to finish. Two weeks later and I'm still not done, and it will be closer to three when it is finally finished. Luckily the customer had a terrible system, so bad that they didn't use it most of the time. So going a couple of Sundays old-school style doesn't bother them in the least bit.
My body feels like it was shot at and missed and shit at and hit. I have to do like 10 minutes of work and 10 minutes of sitting down, going through two towels and 3 tee shirts a day from being drenched in sweat. Between my back and feet, I don't know which one is worse. Standing on 12 foot ladder has been "interesting" to say the least, worrying about if something gives out, and of course with my anxiety/panic issues, well, see the quote above.
Gotta keep at it for now, but not sure how much longer I'm gonna make it before I'm going to just fall into a 350 pound pile of junk parts.

I’m there with you, John. I was walking last night, on level flooring, and did something to my left foot. Not sure what, but it was bad enough that it kept me awake until dawn. I had on my New Balance shoes, but had to take them off because it was putting pressure on the area that was killing me. It’s better today, but I’m taking it easy to give it more time.
I hope you’re able to figure out a way to get yourself through this.

Getting old sucks hind titty. Of course, if I could lose 100 pounds it might me help a lot. Need to invest in some duct tape.

Yeah. It would help my joints a lot, too. I’ve lost 20 lbs. since my knee surgery. Mostly because I haven’t had much of an appetite. But, if I’m not careful, I’ll put it back on in a heartbeat.
im just happy I didn’t need to visit the ER again. It’s been 2 weeks since my last visit. They’re going to think I have a problem.
