Federal deficit for November was $205B. On $206B revenue. So Trump spent twice the federal income. Last year it was $139B deficit for November.
So, get outraged if you think deficits matter.

Note that revenues for the year are UP in comparison to last year, that being because of the tax cuts: www.cnsnews.com/news/article/terence-p-jeffrey/feds-collect-record-taxes-through-november-still-run-3054b-deficit?fbclid=IwAR3XFUnkr9_7E04XEGk0BsJ7hrou2GupYZ1RjIx8qUYVPyaLfjVNPVkIwMYThe bugaboo, of course, is even higher federal spending. Fixing the deficit means spending less, although we don't know how to do that. Several years ago I downloaded the budget and, without touching SS/Medicare or Defense, started deleting entire departments - EPA, DoEnergy, DoEducation, CDC, NASA, NSA, IRS, incredible deletions of TLA agencies, and... it didn't balance the budget. It just wasn't enough. I stopped before deleting the TLA of "FBI." Considering recent events, maybe deleting that too would be a good thing. Raise income taxes, watch the revenue to the federal gov't go DOWN because it suppresses business which is a source of much revenue. So how do YOU want to balance the budget?
