That sucks! When I used to volunteer at our local hospital after they checked over a "regular customer" they would put them in the waiting area or ER hallway. A nurse would then monitor them ever 30 to 60 minutes until they got worse or got bored and went home. I don't ever recall one of the "regulars" getting worse.

I know first hand it sucks to go to the ER and they tell you you're ok to go home when you're not.

Well that's negligent. I've always had the opposite - I am good to go but they hang on for the doc, or some test readings, only 18 hrs or so away.
But then I have always had insurance, and I bet there were times you did not. Coincidence?
