I was ready to vote for Huntsman if he had been the R nominee. He's a much more reasonable and thoughtful person than anything the Rs that cycle. A very intelligent and capable guy, has also been ambassador to China iirc.
It's beyond my why he'd make a statement like that in the context of the scene. He's not a trumpflunky and I sure hope the neocons didn't trap him in the Company.

Just because we're aggressive does not mean the Rooskies aren't. Everyone's right!

Ambassadors report to the Sec of State, who was once head of CIA. Who Pompeo reports to is another thing. I remember when Bush the Dummer reported directly to Cheney, and no one seemed concerned.

Speaking for at least myself and tens of millions of others; people were concerned.

What if no one voted, we had had enough?
Some years ago, when there was a possibility of a dead heat in the election, it was mentioned that if for the sake of argument, everyone got 25,000 votes, it would be settled by the toss of a coin. So for 650 seats, it would be settled by 650 tosses of coins.
Better than what we have, though we brought it on ourselves. Who would toss the coin, Soros? And how had we got to the names at the toss off? Soros and the Kochs? Look not to the remedies.
