I cannot imagine that he will be screaming from the trail anytime soon. It takes a month or so to bounce back from an MI.

Good thing he's a man or everyone would fret about low stamina and weak and sickly.

I'll pass on the loaded sarcasm and go with he should drop out and focus on his health. He had an actual major health issue that if he were president would have caused a general Haig moment that we really don't need. I anticipate that his Bros, sans the way far left conspiracy freaks that will say it's a dnc plot to keep him off the ballot, will get behind Warren. I don't know if they'll Clinton Biden or not.

Is there that much difference between Bernie and Warren?

Not really from a policy standpoint. I'd rather vote for her than Biden but I highly question her electability, even against the great pumpkin.

I’m more on the moderate side and happy to see Pete rising in the polls.

I used to think most people were moderates. The 2 party system, with a lot of help from the media, and the interwebs, has driven people away from the middle. It's very disheartening and bad for the country to be so divided. But I believe this to be part of a plan, so that the grip of the 2 parties is never at risk of a 3rd, or more. So bad for the country, good for the two headed snake.
I like Pete too by the way. Harris is the one I want on the debate stage with Humpty Trumpty though. Shes the best suited to deal with criminals.

I wish Bernie would drop out and focus on his health, but I don't see that happening. And if he does become the nominee his health is going to be THE ISSUE and will completely overshadow his platform. When you're in your mid-70s and have a pretty major heart attack on the trail, it's time to re-evaluate IMO.
I think he'd do a lot better to drop out, throw his weight behind someone like Warren, and they could declare him the health-czar. He'll be focused on his recovery, pointing out how he was fortunate - he's rich enough to get primo care without worry to the cost - would that we all could. And he could also point out that he's crafting the logistics of Medicare for all so it can actually be enacted.
I think Bernie has some great ideas, but I also think he's a total egotist who doesn't know when to give up, so I don't see him dropping out.

Late 70s. Just turned 78. He has to be self aware enough to realize the risk is too great. Not only for him but for a country teetering on the edge of the abyss.

Warren and Biden are in their 70s, too.

True but a few years makes a big difference. A heart attackackackack makes a bigger difference for group C. Biden very likely has early onset dementia. Warren has no signs of health issues that anyone credible is talking about. She's still my first choice but at the end of the day I'd vote for a Smurf because Smurfs are BLUE!!!!

You'd be amazed at the amount of denial people can amass - he's 78, and on the downhill side of the slope, but no body wants to die, and doctors tend to tell people what they want to hear. "A little bit of rest and you'll be able to go right back to your normal life!"
Or doctors who tell cancer patients that having a major operation to remove that tumor could extend your life for a year, but don't mention that you'll live that year in agony. Not because they're being assholes, but because they know you won't accept the truth - you're most likely going to die - the question now is how can we give you the best quality of life in whatever time you have left?
