When was the last time there was an objective and an endgame presented by the constitutionally mandated body of government (Congress) assigned to declaring war?
And you are 100% correct as they have to authority to cut off funding tomorrow, but obviously there's a reason they won't. The MIC is bigger and more powerful than them all, and they can be replaced.

I'm wondering what the breaking point will be for volunteers in this endless war. The kids who are graduating HS this year are the ones who were born in 2001. Will it register with them that the country has been in an unending war that makes Vietnam look like a joke, and make them think twice about enlisting?
I'd like to think so, but judging the shit that our soldiers have put up with for the past 18 years without walking away, I doubt it.
