Hey now, I don't see any reason for the manhunt here - dude was clearly exercising his second amendment rights!
In fact, where are all the second amendment people to defend this?
I am seriously happy that those kids are still alive, but the trauma of what happened isn't going to go away for them.

Yeah yeah yeah they're all scarred for life. You didn't answer my question. I have heard that such activity on their part constitutes a crime, punishable by massive fines and incarceration, when it involves black women and Big Gulps. Perhaps the driver identified as a white police officer and feared for his or her life. All these unanswered questions.

Sorry - if the car was moving, and the kids pelted it with snowballs, then yes, there should be repercussions. It sounds stupid and like we're being pussies, but a projectile is a projectile, no? And if we say a snowball is okay, then what about an ice ball? (I didn't realize it had frozen!)
Either way, the dude had no right to counter with deadly force. Especially as he apparently felt no need to report the snowball incident to the police.

Goes without saying. Lock him/her up for attempted murder.
Just making sure we aren't excusing anyone's bad behavior based on my baby ain't do nuffin.
