Since John might need to strengthen his non-dominant hand...... I'm beginning to show some signs of carpal tunnel. Since I'd prefer to hold on to some cash, I want to avoid surgery, braces, ect. So I got these smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B071LMJMDR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1Holy crap! They arrived yesterday, so I tried them out today. Using the pink (lowest resistance) - I can feel this through my whole hand and wrist. Definitely seems to work, but I'm going to need to just do a minute or two to start, The little minx tried the blue one, which is the highest resistance and immediately put it back in it's bag

Those are pretty neat but as long as I'm strong enough to hold a beer can, I'm good.
/And I'm ambidextrous!

I had the surgery on both hands (not at the same time!) and it wasn’t bad at all. At that time it was an outpatient procedure. I had mine done in Chatham at that place on the corner of route 3 and Butler Road (or whatever it’s called now). I think it’s a lacik surgery place now. My dad took me home after the second one and helped me with my dogs. I was renting and didn’t have a fence, so had to walk them. I’ll never forget the look on his face when he stepped through the door with my Dalmatian on leash in one hand and my lab mix in the other. He’s used to little mini dachshunds, and their exuberant behavior was quite a culture shock!
But the relief was instantaneous. I used to wake up with pain and numbness all during the night and my hands would also go dead on me at work. Couldn’t do any needle work either.
Mom had both of hers done at the same time. She couldn’t even dress herself afterwards. My biggest obstacle was learning how to wipe my ass with my left hand while the right one healed. 🤣
