The Patriots are letting your boy Brady go into free agency.
I'm thinking not a great sign for him, eh?

I would hope the man has *some* dignity.

Well you know Danny Boys flair for the dramatic and how much he loves to make a splash by paying some ridiculous portion of a billion dollars for a single player that he, in his own demented mind, thinks will change the course of ticket sales.
Not that it makes any nevermind to me either way. The only way that team turns around is if he hires Bill Belecheat and the entire Patriots' roster. And he'd probably blow that up too.

That will be a big trade-off for Tommy-boy. Which does he value more - money or his health?
Cause it seems like most Skins QB's end up on the disabled list sooner rather than later now.

Hmm. Conflicting reports from the Boston rags. Some say they’re going to pay him $30 mil. Others ay not so. Regardless, the Pats are in a rebuild mode now and I’m not sure if Brady is in the cards in that sense. They would be stupid to bank on him for the future at his age. As much as I love him, I think any team that puts out beaucoup dinero (yes, I’m trilingual! 😉) for him is loco. I think he should stay in Boston and mentor whoever they decide is the next starter. That would preserve his legacy. But what do I know?

For better or worse, he's the face of that franchise. Kraft had better cough up some cash, or convince him to retire and take some sort of head office position.
