They gave me the two steroid injections right in the nerve roots yesterday. No immediate relief other than I felt like I was standing up unusaully straight and tall. They said it could take a few days to get the relief that may or may not come.
Either way, the literature says in bold letters that even if you get full relief, this procedure is only temporary and can only be done on a limited basis, and will not make surgery unecessary indefinitely. Which is the only other interventional option after this.
