It looks like His Majesty now considers Bloomberg as the biggest threat to his re-election by virtue of being the primary subject of the recent daily stand-up routines he does for his cultists around the country. Based on the massive ad campaign and accelerated upward movement in the polls, he has good reason to fear Mini Mike. He is also the only one throwing and connecting punches at Trump, and has made it known that his number one goal is defeating him, even if he's not the nominee.
So, how helpful is it when the other candidates like Warren and Sanders, lash out at Bloomberg for being no different than Trump, that he's a (insert any of the standard qualifiers here)? Would you try to demonize a billionaire for being a billionaire when you are just as ambitious about wealth, just not "quite" as ambitious"?
I think Bloomberg is an asset in the upcoming election and while I do not support his candidacy (stop and frisk was his "you shoulda seen the guy (crippled hand gestures)" for me.... I certainly appreciate what he is trying to do for the country by ridding us of the shit stain currently residing at 1600 part time.

I have to say he scares the crap out of me - he's Trump in a blue cape instead of a red one.
And most of his apologies are pretty lame - stop and frisk sounded like a good idea at the time. Okay, but was it a huge mistake that led to racial profiling and you have learned from it? Female employees who complained about office protocol were made to sign non-disclosures, but he won't release them from it 'for their own protection' - WTF?
And my friends and relatives in the NY metro area despise him big time. So, I'm going to trust them.

I really don't want him as the option. My preference with Mikey and Uncle Joe is that they both sit the race out and take daily potshots at prednisent SFB. (Of course I'll fill in his bubble.)

Mike and “Hair Furor’” are night and day. Mike is a self-made, successful billionaire. The other is a silver-spoon fed, ignorant failure. I think Bernie is much more like “Hair Furor”. His proclamations are the same: Only I can fix it! His narcissism is scary.
ETA: The Bernie-it’s are very cult-like, too. And they are yugely responsible for where we are now.

Let's be real - all of them have that 'Only I can fix this' attitude. I imagine you can't really run for office anymore unless you have that.
I think that you might be confusing Mike's "I made my own money" with competence. He may be a successful businessman, but he was a terrible mayor. And he's just as much of a narcissist as Trump - there were way more than enough qualified candidates when he decided that only he could fix things. Rather than using those billions to promote the Democratic party and encourage people to vote blue, he's just trying a last-minute power play IMO.
And I'm not a huge Bernie fan myself. I think he has some good ideas, but I don't see him escaping the 'socialist' label, and too many people think socialism = evil.

and if he's the nominee, I will not hesitate to check that box. In fact, I will whistle a catchy little tune all the way back to the parking lot. I would skip... but that ship has fuckin sailed.
Not for nothing guys, but as impure as he may be, he's a major upgrade to what we have. He's actually worked on solving problems for the people of his city. Yes, he fucked up a few of those along the way and even doubled down on his fuckups. I think I put up a video of the federal judge that slammed the door on stop and frisk being interviewed about it last night, and how Biden is falsely claiming it was the Obama administration that ended it. Anyway, she points out that not only was it ruled unconstitutional but Bloomberg kept appealing the decision. So can be be a shithead? Absolutely. But that doesn't mean he'll invite the Russians into the White House without photographers, stenographers, etc, or call up foreign leaders and try to bribe them to dig up dirt on political opponents, or lie lie lie every minute of every day. Because he has shithead tendencies doesn't mean he'll try to strip the most vulnerable among us of what little social programs are available to us, in the cruelest of fashion. He may be a misogynist and a racist, but that doesn't mean he'll pervert the institutions of law and justice or turn the executive branch into a monarchy.
No, he's not my first or even second choice among those contending for the Democrat nomination. There are others that have far greater appeal and a more honorable record. But on Election Day, any one of them is my only choice.

I'll vote for a dead chipmunk as long as there's a D next to its name on the ballot.
