You have so much talent and potential. But, I hope you retire. It took over 6 months for you to “recover” from your latest concussion. Please, please give it up! Although the damage may already be done, it’s not worth tempting fate.

I felt the same way about RGIII - he didn't impress me as being stupid, and was certainly a man full of athletic potential.
The ones I feel sad for are the ones who don't get paid the big, big bucks. When you're 21, a quarter million a year with a $100K signing bonus must feel like you hit the lottery, and the Mega Millions jackpot is just around the corner. You read so many stories of these men spending all their money on family and friends, and putting nothing away. Then they're cut a year or two into what they thought would be a long career.
I did read that there are pro teams that are hiring people to help players learn money skills from the start. I know a lot of NHL teams do it - they needed to for their foreign players to help them acclimate to being in the US and Canada, so I think they just extended it to include all new players.
