The other white meat www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/us/elections/tom-steyer.htmlBloomberg light? He doesn't seem to have much if any traction. No record to run on. I think we're far better off with someone who has been duly elected to at least one public office. I mean even the PTA as long as it wasn't uncontested. Just doesn't seem to fit the mold of a politician not that it's necessarily a bad thing except the current experience was billed as exactly that and we are code 3 at the dumpster fire. Still. Doesn't mean he'll hire the least qualified and most opportunistic self serving loyalists hell bent on destroying the middle class along with the environment, social safety net, agriculture, free trade, and the reputation of America around the world. Not in my top 3 but if he's the nominee... I will be at the polls bright eyed and bushy tailed and Steyer it is... Check.

I'll give the man his due - he focused much of his time on a larger state (SC), and ran on his record as a businessman and banker. From what I've read, he was one of the few who actually sat down with the black and minority populations in CA (where he came from) and in SC to ask their true opinions, and he seems to have made changes based on what he heard to try and run his businesses in a fairer way. Plus, he kept his word - he said that if he didn't get good results in SC, he would stop there.
Was he qualified to be president? Probably not. But he does seem like an honest person, and I hope he uses his money to push for initiatives that open the door for those who have been knocking at it for years.
