Is there something odd about her or is it just me? I get this HRC-esque air of insincerity from her, like the complete antithesis of Liz.

I don't see her being as assertive as HRC or Warren. She needs to speak up more and set herself apart from the pack some.

That perception comes from her more or less standing back out of the kill zone while the rest of them shoot at each other in a circle.

Very true. And that's what Trump did too - sat back and watched. Only difference was that he would causally toss some scathing insults from time to time to screw them all up.

Sat back too long I guess.
So it's Bernie, Uncle Joe, Liz and Mr. Moneybags now?
Oh wait - Gabbard is still in. She just doesn't show up for anything.

Yep. Oddly enough, Pete and Amy didn't formally withdraw but somehow managed to find the time to endorse Uncle Joe. DNC dealing again.

I seem to remember the republicans doing the same. I suspect the party leadership starts pushing them when their poll numbers drop to think about who they're going to name as their successor.
Either that, or they want to use their last remaining moment of fame to tell their people to follow their lead one last time. Who knows?
But I do remember that when Hilary dropped out of the 2008 race, she endorsed Obama in her withdrawal speech. I don't really see a conspiracy here - both were running more in line with Joe's platform than Bernie's.
