If we were hit with an actual biological attack, the USA could turn in it's badge and clear out it's desk. We suck at crisis management.

I love the people who are saying China will get theirs. Very true - when we are on our backs because of our lack of preparation, every single person who said that will be begging them to take over

We've done fine before. But at those times, we had leaders. Now we have dickhead punks.

I'm not saying we should invite him back, but I'd love to hear Rally justify this response, given that we have the best health care system in the world.
California has said not to bother asking for a test unless you're a medical worker - they don't have enough for all.
And I have yet to see those big beautiful drive-thru testing centers at Wally World - surely the Grand Cheeto wasn't lying....
Reporters need to start pushing harder on the response and remind him of that shit - "Mr. President, a week ago you said there would be drive-thru testing at Walmart. Why isn't that in place yet?" "Mr. President, last week you said that Roche was mass producing test kits and we'd have them within a week. Where are they?" "Mr. President, what do you have to say to the Americans who still think this is nothing but a Democratic Hoax? How can we convince those people to take this seriously?"
Put his ass on the spot every time he shows his face. Every single fucking time.

The really sad thing is that China has sent supplies (masks, etc.) to Spain and Italy to help with their shortages. 45 has made sure the US will not be getting any help from anyone. We are on our own. He tried to buy a German company that is close to developing a vaccine! Every day, he manages to one-up himself in atrocities. And the media should stop covering his press briefings. They are just a different version of his rallies, for his ego.

We have a tariff on medical goods from China. The US Trade Representative just opened up a 3-month comment period on maybe removing that. Just like the nonexistent comment period before they were slapped in place.

www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/fauci-gets-frank-about-trump-i-cant-jump-in-front-of-the-microphone-and-push-him-down/ar-BB11yEAg?ocid=ientpAnd then there's this. I understand that Fauci is trying to do his best to make sure that at least some accurate information gets out there, and that there is an actual scientist at the table. But at what point do you just say WTF and shout out "I'm sorry Mr. President, perhaps you misspoke...it's really X, not Y" Because like it or not, Trump gets out there and panders to his audience of idiots. And nothing will change until the people behind him start speaking out and verbally saying something at these press conferences, or prevent him from appearing at them.

They other day, when Trump had his sissy-fit and went off on the NBC reporter... The reporter later asked Mike Pence the same question. Pence responded in a thoughtful and dignified way, as the orange plague stood literally right next to him. So there's been a few of these "corrections" that have come along either at the time or shortly after. Fauci's interview (read it last night) spoke for itself. Not entirely sure why but the science and health people were absent from Conald Dick's press conference yesterday afternoon, most notably absent.... Fauci.
Said it before and I'll say it again. We'd be in so much better shape leadership-wise with Pence.

Yeah, he's an asshole, but at least he knows how to read his teleprompter and say things in the correct tone of voice.
And I know he went off on the NBC guy, but that shouldn't be the story - the story should be 100% that he's not following through on shit. Not more test kits, not more medical supplies, not help for businesses and people who are struggling, not reassurance for those who are scared. Nothing.
So maybe the story should be - what is the president afraid of?
