I remember going to the Cap Center to watch the Bullets with Wes, the Big E and Bobby Dandridge, to name a few. I was sad to read that he was gone. He leaves a huge (literally) legacy. Love you, man.

We used to go there and watch games many times in that era. Tickets were like 12 dollars even for good seats. EEEEEEEE (turn around jump shot)! Phil Chenier, Kevin Greevey, I even remember seeing Manute Bol play. Great times. Wes was a rebound machine and a beast in the paint. And we saw a lot of games including the show www.basketball-reference.com/teams/WSB/1978.html

I remember seeing the Os for 3 bucks in the bleacher seats at Memorial stadium. Had to pay more to park than for the game.

One of my fondest memories was a playoff game. A neighbor of my parents got tickets and his wife went with my mother and me. Our seats were in the middle of some very well-dressed black men. They lit up at tip-off and I was in heaven the whole game! 🤣🤣🤣
