This would be a good time to start a butcher shop. Probably might want to either learn to be a butcher, or hire one first.... but point being, people may start flocking to somewhere that they can trust their meat being raised locally.
Half of us wouldn't eat meat if we knew what goes on out west where it's "produced", so I can only imagine what the conditions are in say, South Korea, where the dogs have their own slaughterhouses but who's to say what goes where over there?
This is a bullshit move on the part of Congress and an incredible affront to consumers.

It was inevitable. Country of origin laws have been successfully challenged in various free trade agreements and their rigged courts. The TTP would have been the death knell for such laws here.
Of course, these free trade treaties are bought by the same guys who bought our Congresscritters...

Appointments don't involve campaigns, and therefore no campaign contributions. No campaign contributions results in no corrupting money influence, other than outright bribery which should be closely monitored and severely punished when discovered, and so causes about half the lobbyists in Washington to go home. (Repealing the income taxes would cause the other half to go home, but that's a different thread.)

Money talks a hell of a lot louder than genocide enthusiasts.
