Fucking Retarded? www.cnbc.com/2020/11/12/deutsche-bank-proposes-a-5percent-tax-for-remote-workers-post-pandemic.htmlFirst thing you should remember is who came up with the blockbuster idea. The place that washes Trump's dirty laundry and to whom, if you believe any of those reporting it, Trump owes many millions of dollars (and perhaps defaulted on in the past)... Setting that aside for a minute, WTF? From anyone. Should anyone really be suggesting raising taxes on people working from home, from work, from the car, from the library? If we're raising taxes, how about rescinding the fucking tax breaks on the wealthy and return them back to pre-Reagan levels for a while? I'm sure some facebook economics expert has a perfectly good reason why that's a bad idea and they just need republicans in office for another 30 years to prove it's about "prosperity trickling down, weeeee promise. So do I.

Now, now John. Those billionaires got rich the hard way - they earned it through hard work, pure luck, government handouts, leveraged buyouts, and laying off others.
They're not like the old-school billionaires who got their money when mommy or daddy bought the farm.
Meanwhile friend and his husband are anxiously awaiting Thanksgiving - they both work at Wawa, and their hours are in so much flux that they don't know how they're going to put gas in the car to get to work, let alone make rent. They're hoping that they get a full week of hours so they can put a little money aside towards bills.
