After our previous living situation and the need to live off of premade, processed, heat n eat, or takeout type meals at least 4 days a week... We've cut that down to less than 3 days a week living here with the cooking room and modern appliance called a range. Anyway, having much less prepared, processed, shit, the main thing in our freezer has been fresh meats. Unfortunately, I'm slowing down a little bit on cooking homemade meals lately and we've been ordering out more. No bueno.
So do y'all have any ideas or keep stuff in your freezer or even fridge that doesn't make you feel like you're filling yourself with Soylent green, block of sodium, or lab samples when you want a quick and easy meal?

Have a recipe for a bean and sausage stew that's very easy I really like it, and the leftovers are good as well

www.gardein.com/This is fantastic! Burgers, meatballs, chicken fingers, buffalo wings, etc. I haven’t tried their fish or seafood, and I’m not a sausage/bacon lover, but the other stuff is great. And they have recipes, too. They’ve come a long way with plant-based foods.

Turned out to be a DiGiorno "Pizzaria" Pepperoni Pizza. And Food Lion had the Stouffer "Family Size" entrees 2/$10 so I got a Creamed Chipped Beef and don't remember the exact name of the other but it's some kind of chicken and rice bake casserole type deal. Forgot they had pork shoulders on sale... ugh. I throw one of those in the crockpot with my rub and that's dinner for 2 nights plus 2 more nights' worth in the freezer for about 12-15 bucks. One trip to any bbq place is 45 MINIMUM and we might get 2 nights total out of it.
I also threw my burnt soup in there. Pretty sure I'm just gonna pop it out into the trash and take it to the dumpster while it's still frozen. I HATE HATE HATE wasting food. Especially food that takes that much effort to put together.

Agreed. One good thing about being a boring eater is that I can cook one dish and will be happy consuming the leftovers for the rest of the week.
