Very sorry but also thankful in a way

I remember when she vanished but don't remember why or how it was connected to the FXBG area. Perhaps she was known to visit the area or maybe the asshole that was charged had ties there. Either way, when we came out here last year to look at this apartment, on our way home we stopped at the Mcdonald's in Lovingston. Right in front of that shopping center at 29 there was a large almost billboard sized poster of her and to call, I think it was by the Center for Missing and Exploited children, maybe even Nelson County Sheriffs Office. My wife asked about it and I said I remembered her name and face for all these years, just like Junior Burdinsky and Melissa Brannon.

It sounds aweful to say I'm happy they found her but we all know that it's not really happiness, it's only being thankful that her family finally has answers and will be able to have some closure after all these years.

I'm glad they found her and that the scum who killed her has been convicted and locked away as well.

It will never take away the pain and grief of those who knew her, but I hope it brings them a little comfort.
