What difference does it make? The bodycam footage I mean. Even if it shows him clearly shooting at the cops. there's not going to be any mea culpas out their in some circles. Nor will their be any taking of responsibility or assignment of such.

I think that this is a situation that will show how body cam footage can exonerate a cop. Kid was armed, didn't stop and hold his hands in clear view when ordered to and paid the price. And his 'friend' (who probably gave him said gun) lied about who the kid was and how old he was.

I feel terrible for this kid's family - it's hard to accept that your kid went off the rails, and will not live to see HS because of it. I can understand them wanting to lash out and blame others for this.

But the general public should look at this and realize that the police did do their jobs.
And the police should realize that perhaps body cams on at all stops might not be the evil they try to portray it as.
