If you haven't seen the video look "watch the show folks". It is one of the most vivid examples of abuse of authority, total lack of respect for the profession, and complete failure of other officers to reign in this fucking jackoff cop. Which makes them all jackoff cops by extension. 

Then there was the settlement for 20 grand and the state gets to hide behind the settlement by not having to admit wrongdoing. 100% unacceptable. How did he get a job with VASP? Will he be able to get a job as a cop elsewhere? If so, there's even MORE complicity on the state, the state police, and the state courts.


One thing. The video needs to be run on every tv news and video segment in the media, a couple times a day, every day, until it's a good bet everyone in the country has seen it. He is a prime example of the fucktard that the holster sniffers out there deny even exists. Or at least that they are few and far between. Let them see first hand what a batshit crazy with authority and probably some kind of supremacist looks like in action. He should be in jail for assaulting that man and the charge of aggravated assault is 100% fitting. But the lawsuit that was settled probably lets him off with just losing his job. 

We are going to have to force the issue on a much larger scale at some point because it seems that the LE departments/agencies and those that administrate them unwilling to move the line back on themselves.

And yet, the state still had the balls to charge the man in the car (Thompson) with misdemeanor obstruction of justice. For asserting his right to not have to leave his car during a routine traffic stop that took place on the side of a busy interstate.

There needs to be a nationwide registry for both cops and doctors/medical professionals. Before you're hired (or licensed) anywhere it's checked. All infractions are reported to the database. Do shit like the above, and you're never working in that profession in any capacity again.

And yeah, that video needs to be front and center everywhere - show it in classrooms and ask if you could get away with this behavior at your job. Then ask how long it would take for you to be fired after saying any form of 'Look at me fucker', let along 'watch the show folks'. Point out that despite this video, it took MONTHS for him to be fired. MONTHS. And during that entire time, the force was investigating what the victim did to cause this abuse.

It's past time for the 'Thin Blue Line' to take care of the rot. Problem is, that I suspect the majority is rot, not the minority.

For years, decades even, I've said there needs to be a psych eval done on potential trainees before they go to the "academy". Then a separate one done by the department to make quadfuckingdriple sure the soon to be badged and gunned individual can pass a standardized test that would reveal serious flaws in their character, personality, and mindset that would be considered high risk behaviors in police-public encounters.


I would have disagreed with you a few days ago about the level of rot. But those two fucking idiots just standing there allowing that pig to abuse his authority and act so unprofessionally makes me second guess my disagreement.

I saw this a few days ago. She's obviously just a batshit crazy Karen Trump. I loved the way she asked people on the way out if they were BLM or Antifa. In my eyes it's not racism as much as mental instability. The question of which precipitates which isn't clear. What is clear is that she needed to take a swing at that man so he could drop her ass to the floor and let her bleed it out until the medics got there. 

Someone asked me about it. They said "if she said that to you and got in your face saying she was going to kick your ass, you would hit her?"

Too many people want to write this shit off as 'isolated incidents' - according to almost every Black person I know, things like these are pretty much everyday occurrences for them. Friend's brother had the po-po called on him in Warrenton because he sat in the company parking lot for an additional 5 minutes before work to finish listening to a podcast - guy who called had worked in the same building with him for years, they parked less than 5 spots from each other and usually rode the elevator together in the morning. White dude said he was a suspicious Black man. Police told brother they were sorry, and went over to the white man and said that things were okay - no reprimand for him.
A co-worker of my husband bought a Lexus - dude has a master's degree and is a manager at Dahlgren. He decided to start driving his wife's old car - got tired of being pulled over for crap, asked where he was going, and then being allowed on his way.

It's a routine thing for the cops and it needs to stop. Just had an incident in Spotsy - guy shot 10 times. He was on a cordless phone with 911 at the time - he told the operator that his *brother* had a gun inside the house, but he wasn't afraid that brother would use it. He was outside and had put his hands up, but was still holding the phone in his hand. Cop yelled 'Put the gun down!' and then shot him in the back. Body cam is pointed at the ground, so audio only. Dude is at MWH in critical condition.

I don’t see how anyone could be expected to know how to respond to someone screaming frantically at you while blinding you with a flashlight. It’s even worse when multiple people are screaming at you at the same time.

You’re on the phone with 911, they tell you to stay on with them until the police arrive. So your speaking to them, cop drives up, starts screaming at you while shining his lights at you - yeah, confusion abounds.
