I think that when we finally get our socialist healthcare system, or the conservative equivalent to it, which is what we have now,
sorry I got off track
Every heath care provider, regardless of practice type, should be required to get vitals on every patient before leaving their visit. I have noticed that even the primary care places sometimes forego (overlook) that most basic function of SOC.
-Side story- The dentist we see out here does vitals and the poor underfunded motherfuckers use the bp machine (I forget the proper term for it) that's a wrist cuff. They wouldn't do anything, not even look in her mouth, because her bp was "we should call you an ambulance" high, according to their cuff. The only way they would see her is if she had a signed waiver from her PCP. Well needless to say since her bp was off the charts I got her in that day to see someone at PC. They took her bp for realz like with the actual arm cuff, analog meter, and heart lung headphones..... and guess what? Norman. So the doc wrote on the waiver for them that bp was normal (I think it was like 122/71) and for them not to discontinue using those wrist cuffs. LOL. -end-
I also like it when I go to the hospital and they already know my name, age, meds, and history. So I'm thinking making revisions to HIPAA to help accommodate a more efficient means of getting medical records to providers. Who doesn't fuckin hate filling out a stack of forms at every single new office you go to? And some of them have been copied from copies from copies 1000 times. How do you feel about microchips? Because I'd be down if it was on an encrypted card and only be accessible via 2 forms of ID, including a fingerprint and/or retinal scan.
