This was just the other day. Not 3 years ago like we see some agencies keep on the down low for as long as possible. All the protests and whatnot must be working. We must be making some progress with LE transparency and accountability. Even better is the media deciding a white guy getting the 102 bullet salute is sexy enough to write about for a change. Next thing you know missing black girls will get 24/7 national news coverage.

On the incident itself. This poor bastard decided to die by firing squad and the troopers had one set up just for the occasion. Where was the non-lethal option? Where was a real hero that could talk this guy down while not having him in the barrel sight, finger on trigger? He really didn't appear to be wild, out of control, or aggressive until he made that final decision.
