So everyone was able to order 4 free covid test kits earlier this year.
And you can get 3 free N95 masks.
All well and good.
The covid tests are mailed out - you only got one set of 4 per household. Good for one or two person households, bad for everyone else.
The test kits we got have an expiration date of 11/2022
However, you get the masks at pharmacies. I was at Giant yesterday, and they had them already bagged up in sets of three, with a sign saying each person could have one bag.
I thought this made a hell of a lot more sense - just pack up the test kits in sets of 4 and either have people ask at the pharmacy, or have them on a small table nearby where people can grab a set.
Granted, you run the risk of the rude and greedy grabbing more, but I suspect that if they were all as easily available as those masks were yesterday it won't happen too often -won't be a black market if everyone can get them at the drop of a hat.
I mention this because a friend told me you can now order 4 more kits from the original site. Glad that she can get more (there are 4 adults in her household), but seems like this could be done a lot easier.
