And I really find that I don't give a crap. Well except for my friend's son Zach. He and the wife had a kid in the offseason, and I'm sure it was stressful waiting to see if he'd get paid this year.
But other than that, yawn.

I'm kind of agnostic about it myself. I will tell you this though; I used to get really fired up when Little League had our draft in Feb about the same time pitchers and catchers would report to spring training and the first practice. And that exuberance stayed with me all the way through the spring. And then...... FALL BALL!!!
Simpler times.

Definitely. I think I felt a lot more passionate about sports when the players weren't making $10-$15 mil a season, and I could actually afford a partial season ticket.

Baseball is ending, but blernsball is just beginning.
(That's a gripe about adding the DH in the NL)

Just a reminder, the manager can put his pitcher/s in the batting order any time he wants. I hate watching pitchers stand there for 3 pitches and an automatic out. And even worse is walking the guy hitting in front of the pitcher to get to the pitcher. I won't miss that one iota.

I welcome specialized offense and defense teams for blernsball. There's no reason it can't be just like football.
