Are the NJ Generals still a team? Wasn’t that the amazing negotiator’s team?

Wasn't the Biggest Loser in the XFL? Beats me too.
I don't remember anything other than one or two of those players "he hate me" but not which one birthed them.

Tonight’s the night! Are you ready for some football?

I happened to tune by Friday night’s game (Michigan/New Jersey - damn that sounds weird!). The stands looked totally empty.
okay, I’ll admit it. I inadvertently recorded the game. The USA network shows Chicago Fire all day on Friday (0800-0600 the next day) but it’s often preempted by sports as it was on Friday. 🤪😜😏

Sure you didn't mean to record it....
We saw something super weird this weekend, and I didn't note the channel. It was 'You make the call'. Two teams playing football - looked like college-age, but who knows. We pegged it as division II-III college level players.
Anyway, they were in an empty stadium playing along, but anytime there was a play on the field, the action stopped and you could scan a QR code or call and 800-number and vote on what the call on the field should be. The refs then called whatever play got the most votes.
We only watched for about 10 minutes, but man was it weird. You think re-plays take a long time - in that 10 minutes we saw one call - player looked like he made a touchdown, but the ball didn't cross the field of play. First replay made it pretty clear, then we had to watch 10 minutes of the replay while votes were tallied (mind you during the 3-4 minute voting period you saw no replay, and the players just sat around on the field). The vote was for touchdown, and the game continued.
Man, those players must be out there constantly telling themselves "At least I'm getting paid to play football, right? Right? Right?"
