So I went to a video arcade. I thought they were all dead. This one is walking distance to Cowboy Jack's (closer than the Goodwill, Reclaim Arcade) I signed up for the annual membership because then I don't worry about getting my money's worth. They have a game I absolutely rule, Robotron 2084, you truly cannot find anyone better (you might find someone as good - I quit after about 3 hrs on one play on it the other week, something like 350th level). Also some other classics I'm not so hot at - Asteroids, Galaga, Tempest, Missile Command yadda yadda yadda. And a bunch of pinball machines, which is nice.
I had no idea they were there, and they draw a crowd. They do serve beer, but probably pricey.

I liked arcade games in the 80s, I ruled a game called Tron, but pinball was by far my favoritest.

I want to say I've heard about the one over there by CJX through some channel somewhere but I know for sure they had one in the LBG and it was super popular. It's really the only thing I like about some of the amusement parks, that some of them still had the arcades as of last time we amused ourselves. And yearp it's been a while.

I was a Ms Pac-Man junkie. I would stop at truck stops to play. 🤣🤣

Generally they keep the pinball machines working. My first dorm building had one, Eight Ball Deluxe. Now the games score into the billions. That's okay, they do multiball now, I like the madness of it.
They have Tron and at least one of the PacMan series. I never played them.

Video games are how I got my youngest stepson to warm up to me. I had made friends with the older one. They were in school when I first started dating my second husband, the youngest in middle school. When they came up from Richmond County to stay with us, I’d take the younger one out to local places for games. It was loads of fun. Of course, he hated me most of the time, but that was a period of time that it wasn’t as intense. His older brother would apologize for him, telling me that it wasn’t personal and that he was like that with everyone.
