I feel like day old shit today. Head aching, sinuses running for their lives, violent sneezeses, ears ringing my eye, just shitty. Hopefully it's the weather change and/or allergies. I have been taking zyrtec every day for 6 months. Apparently it's not doing much.
My pal at the DDI said to find someone locally selling honey, made locally. Anyone ever hear of that for allergies?

I've heard of it, and it seems to be a YMMV thing. Some folks swear by it. I didn't see any real difference. And the stuff I got was from North Stafford, so definitely local.
I say weather changes - I've been feeling like shit one day, and then okay two days later. Totally sucks.

Yep. A couple days ago, I was sneezing my head off. My head has been draining like mad and my chronic cough has raised its ugly head, despite the slimy elm bark. I slept way too late today, so my body is extra pretzel-y. I may be straightened up by bedtime 🤣🤣. Sad thing is, Tuesday is Tovala delivery day. I managed to get the box inside but still need to unpack it and refrigerate the contents. This involves quite a bit of maneuvering, as all 4 boxed meals won’t fit, as is. I need to unpack 2 of them, and sort out the fixings. I use zip lock sandwich bags, including the cards so I know what goes with each meal. Got heat placed in several areas. And I’m sniffing the mouse pouches. It’s a lovely aroma - kind of a BenGay or Vicks Vaporub scent.
The post nasal drip has been playing havoc with sleeping recently, too. Before today, my dad would slowly fill up with snot so much that I couldn’t breathe and felt the snot backing up in my throat. I was arising earlier than usual because my head was so fucked.
I thought I might be getting a cold, but I haven’t been anywhere!

I've heard that, it supposedly acclimatizes you to the local flora. Or it's magic, I don't know.

I suppose once upon a time they didn't have a pill for literally everything that ailed you. Home remedies most definitely can go either way, but I've found many of them to be quite useful. Study that vs placebo effect and multiple the coefficient of y and you may or may not get cramp relief with yellow mustard.
Five Dollar Bill had a few of these and I will say that he nailed it when he said he keeps a bottle of Wild Turkey American Honey on hand for colds. I've been doing the same long before we met. Now that's what I call magic.
