You'll remember from a few months ago that my friend fostered a pooch that had to go back to the shelter. It was very traumatic for her and Zeus, and she thought that maybe she wasn't meant to have another dog. Fast forward - Zeus is in a different foster home and doing very well! And, I'd like you to meet The Queen Bee And her crackhead daughter Lola OMG, such sweetie pies! All the Queen wants to do is cuddle 24/7. If you scratch her, she is your loyal follower and will never leave your side. Lola is a total crackhead, but also into the snuggles and scratches. She chews through anything that doesn't try to chew her first. She's destroyed 10 tennis balls so far - we've ordered sturdier stuff. Both pooches are settling in nicely and have loved all visitors, and also aren't getting in front of my friend's walker, which is a 100% win! Rescue wasn't sure of their full back-story, but the woman who ran the rescue was keeping them both inside except for short walks. I let crackhead Lola out in the fenced yard a few hours after she came home, and I think the dog's head almost exploded! So much to explore and so little time! My favorite was her going under the deck and trying to get out through the lattuce - so stinking adorable I am not in love with this pair, and definitely will NOT be going to play with them tonight

I ordered a set of hard rubber balls (chuck its - kind of like a round kong) for the crackhead. My friend is at her mom's so I said I'd come over and play with the babies tonight (someone is at the house with them). Balls are arriving tomorrow. I guess I'll have to go back over and play with them again. Can't just keep the balls at my house, right?

I used those with my dogs. I only had a few that would actually fetch. Most got huge enjoyment from watching me throw and eventually go fetch it myself. 🤣🤣. The chorkie I fostered LOVED fetching. And of course, the Jack Russel would fetch as long as I’d throw the damn ball. And this was before my shoulder surgery, so the pain was visceral. I had a couple of the “wands” that the balls fit into so that made it a little easier.

They are total moron dogs! Went over yesterday to visit. Queen barked her fool head off from the dogsitter's lap. Lola jumped right into my lap for scratches, then ran to grab her latest tennis ball. When I stopped tossing it for her, she jumped on my lap and dropped it, then jumped down like I had tossed it. I guess her little doggie brain thought that I'd be tricked into thinking I should start tossing again! But they are sweetie-pies, even if Lola can't sit still for more than 20 seconds
