I’ve worn Bombas for years, mostly in warmer weather as I use heavier socks for the cold. Today I grabbed a new pair and went to put them on. I noticed that each one was labeled - one “R” for the right foot and the other “L” for the left. Now, I’ve had some compression socks that were marked this way but I never noticed Bombas doing this. Why? What difference does it make?

I can see doing it for little kids - helping them to learn left and right (lots of toddler and preschool shoes used to have and L and R on the tops), but otherwise?
Maybe they're hoping that people will feel weird wearing two right socks if a left goes missing and will order a new pair. Seems very weird.
